One of the books on my wish list has 165 people wishing for it (and NO ONE posting it) i've been #31 on the list for months. It's the Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx. Have you seen a list longer than that? For what book?

For books that haven't been published yet, I have - the list for Lover Enshrine is well over 300 at this point, I think. I've never seen one that bad for a book already out.

BTW, you might doublecheck to make sure there's not another version listed, with a smaller wait list. I've seen that happen a number of times - there'll be tons of people waiting on one copy, not realizing that there's a newer edition with a smaller list.

The newest Harry Potter had a huge WL when I looked a few weeks ago. I think it was in the 400's.

I also find it frustrating when you WL a book and you think "Great! I'm only #3" and months later you're still #3.

I hate that too Jen. I've been #1 on three books for AGES now!

Yeah, I've been waiting on Never Lie to a Lady and Prince of Fire for EVER. I swear, I sometimes think I've moved backwards.

Particularly annoying, because I got the books that come AFTER both of them ages ago.

Water for Elephants has 1191 people for one paperback version and 566 for hardback. I think I saw this at Walmart the other day. Eventually there will be 1000 copies available in PBS and people will be begging for somone to order it.

I am on several lists that are very long (new In Death series, new Dark Hunter books, new Anita Blake novel, etc). Every once in a while I will just go buy a book that has a long list and post in the system when I am done. I figure karma will kick in and I will move up on some lists:D
