I need to put some more money in my PBS account to print postage for a book that's been requested from me.  I'd like to buy $10 so that I have some for future requests, but no matter what I do, it won't let me purchase more than the $1.29 I need for the current wrapper.  I try to change the amount to $10 and it just changes back to $1.29.  I am not paying the 50 cent fee for just $1.29 worth of postage money.  I've logged out and back in again and it still wont' let me purchase a lump sum of PBS money.  Is anyone else having this problem and if so were you able to get around it?

Seems to work alright for me.  I changed the amount to $50 and said check out and it stayed that way.  I didn't go all the way through the process because I don't really want to buy $50 worth of PBS money right now, but I think it would have worked fine.

Try buying money from the home page in the kiosk.

Are you sure you're clicking the little update amount arrow after you edit? If you're not, it will revert back to the $1.29 amount.

I tried buying the money from the home page in the kiosk, and yes I clicked the little update arrow, and it still reverted back to the $1.29.  Finally in frustration, I canceled the request and logged out of PBS.  Later I logged back in.  The $1.29 was still in my cart but this time it allowed me to add an additional $10 so I was able to buy $11.29.  Weird.  I also re-listed the book in question so that the wisher will get to request it again.

Some members see $5.00 and think you have to buy $5.00 worth of swapmoney.  It can be changed to whatever amount you want.

That's good you got it to work.

If you get to Paypal, then use the back button,  the checkout locks up. In that case you need to wait until Paypal times out.

Clarinda - I have had the same thing happen to me and it seems to happen if you need more money than you have in your account to pay for the transaction you have started in the print function.  I have always just not finished the print function, done a refresh of the site and then gone to the Kiosk to buy the money and been able to buy the amount of PBS money I desire.
