I just realized I had 14 credits to burn and thought I'd spend a little time browsing the book deals.  This... change... yuck.  ****Credits for $3*****, out of 50 posts, 30 of them are people selling credits.  I remember when you had to search a page or two before finding someone selling, and they used to be for as low as $2.  Everything feels so mercenary on PBS the last year or two, and I know that's coming from the site owners.  The whole flavor of PBS has changed, but I've been here for over 8 years so I guess I just remember the good ol' days.  Why isn't there a credit only forum so the Book Bazaar can go back to being what it was, a place for book lovers to exchange actual books?

A separate forum listing for credits for sale... BRILLIANT!

Please, if you'd like to see a separate forum for "Credit Sales" let TPTB (Contact Us button at bottom of page) know. They don't necessarily read the forums (at least that's what I've been led to believe), so the only way they're going to know that we'd like to see the Book Bazaar go back to being an exchange for book deals, etc., is to let them know.

I've wondered the same thing myself.

So true, I haven't been checking the Book Bazaar lately because I have so many books already, I don't need any right now. When I just looked I couldn't believe how many posts there were for credits for sale. I think it's a terrific idea for there to be a seperate post for 'credits for sale'. Maybe one of the people who posted could take that on?!

Great idea.  I wish I had the time to devote to this mission now but unfortunately do not.

I've already posted about this but they ignore it.

They say it's not enough to post, that we've gotta send Feedback through the Contact Us link at the bottom of each page.

I rarely check the Book Bazaar these days for much the same reason: there are more ads for selling credits at the exorbitant $3 flat-rate fee than there are interesting book deals. The good old days (including the days of competitive and affordable book credits) are gone forever.

So far, they have the rights to complain --

Yeah, I stop buying credits unless it is an important books under my wish list  (ex: Discovery of Insulin, and the Making of a Medical Miracle )  much worth the price to buy somewhere else..

I usually buy it for $2.00 @ for I bought and donated selected romance books for my seniors friends (mostly loved older books).

I already closed my two accounts: CD and DVD. No used having an open account if I don't used them anymore. So far I' haven't closed this books account yet for I still wanted some of the books On my wish list.

Now, there are overwhelmingly for sale credits @3.00 that seems to get stagnant.

credits have always been sold in the bazaar. it's been that way for as long as I have been here.
