put down all the pages in the book, including excerpts from another book and other pages at the end of the book, or only the actual pages that pertain to the novel itself? I only put down the actual # of pages that pertain to the novel, but I've seen others list all the pages whether they are relevant to the book or not. |

You are right, Pat. Editing instructions from the PBS Team are to use the actual pages of the story. Exceptions are books that include a glossary, index, the things that DO pertain to the text. If the volunteers doing approvals can tell that the page #s include extraneous pages, they will be subtracted. It's not always easy to tell... :^( |

For fiction, I use the last page that is numbered, usually the last page of the story. For non-fiction I would go the end of the index which also has page numbers. |
