I have many books on my bookshelf that have holds on them from the upgrade to get rid of the Books to Repost List (I think it was that list).  I also put books on hold when I post them to my list.

What date does the system use to put these held books on my bookshelf?  Does it use the date they were entered?  Or the date that the book was posted without a hold?  And if I decide to put select books on my bookshelf on hold that had once not been on hold, how does that affect their place in the FIFO?

I know putting your account on vacation will keep your place, so I am really interested in finding answers.

Just finished rechecking the Help Center so I could try and answer this correctly.

Books on Hold on your Bookshelf are not seen by anyone looking at your Bookshelf...to have them seen you have to "repost" them...meaning they will start out at the bottom of the line and the day that you actually post them to your Bookshelf (so they are seen) is the date that is shown.

If you choose to put select books on your bookshelf back on hold, when you want to take them off hold you have to "repost" them which means they start out again at the bottom of the line....(no, they will not maintain their position in the FIFO line).
