That my little saying when I come across a book which I find questionable to post (for example, an odd smell or overall condtion) or a requestor's condition which are a bit too subjective for me to figure out (for example, by using the words "very" or "too"). I don't post the book, and I don't send the book.

I think it's a good guideline, and wanted to share.

Sound advice, I'd say!

I do the same thing. I've had books that were technically postable, but just a bit too worn for my comfort so I didn't post them.

I also have another rule... I ALWAYS give every book I send out a once over to check for problems I may have missed since I haven't acually read all of the books on my shelf. It only takes a little bit of time and avoids problems later on.

Me too.  The cost of a credit is now above $3.50 - if I wouldn't pay that for the book, I wouldn't post it.

As for RCs - the more specific, the better.
