Good teen read! It was fine from the beginning, but it really took off in the middle. I love that Jess isn't a cookie-cutter character! All the characters were interesting, and the storyline was fun -- I'm going to happily continue with this series! (The "Grits" vs "Townies" thing made me roll my eyes a bit though.)
I found this book to be pretty intense and really well written. Cabot was able to get into Jess's character really well (which is important in a first person narrative, of course). And it seems like things are wrapped up neatly in the end - until you read the memo. I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series.
I love this INTIRE series! They are must reads!
