Prince Alexi of Alalonia has an amazing night with a mysterious woman 4 years before in Venice. He always thought of this woman, carrying the woman's earring left in his bed after that night of passion.
4 years later another woman comes into his life, but he's prince without a country, so even thou he's attracted to her, he resists.

I just finished up listening to this today and despite all of the glowing reviews it received it couldn't hold my attention. Neither character was irritating or obnoxious, fortunately, but the story just seemed to go on and on going nowhere. Really though, I think the problem lies in the fact that I've read too many of these and they have to be exceptionally different to stand out for me. This one just wasn't.

Well-written, seductive novel with a few plot twists and delightful characters, these stories are fun and satisfying. When We Meet Again is the quintessential historical romance filled with intrigue, betrayal, scandal and heat! Totally enjoyable reading!
