I just had two book requests on my account. I printed the wrapper for the first one, with prepaid postage. When I went to print the second one, I discovered that the requestor was the same person as the first book. Now I'm stuck with a wrapper with prepaid postage. I know, I know, I can take it to the post office and they will credit me the postage. But isn't there some way we can be signaled that the requestor is the same on more than one book? |

As far as I know, there is no other way to know without checking the address before you print. A member can request multiple books from one person and that will show up as a bulk order, which you can print one wrapper for that one order. It sounds like the person who requested from you placed more than one order, which is why they showed up like that. |

I thought that once postage was paid for it couldn't be returned or refunded. |

If I get multiple orders in one day, I will check if they are the same requestor by going to the PM option. At least I will be able to tell if it is the same person before I print the labels. Diane |

Yes, I've learned to check as well before printing out my Final/Printable Postage since I've had multiple requests from same person that I wasn't flagged about that they are same sendout address. So, I will either use the PM button, or print a label without postage and DC first then go back and change label to Printable Postage after I've checked. (If you do this, though, you can manually adjust the weight so the postage will be right, but you will only get one instant credit, you have to wait for the member to mark the rest of your books received before you get credit for the others.) Unless it is a bulk mailing (one person ordered the books all at once instead of one at a time) you can't get quick credits for all books going out, unless mailed separately. |
