I love this book. Down on the farm mom and dads are looking for their little ones, lift the flap to find them. You can use this book both to teach animal sounds and baby animal names. The animals depicted are as follows: Chicken:Chick:Chirp, Pig:Piglet:Oink, Duck:Duckling:Quack, Goat:Kid:Maa, Cow:Calf:Moo, Sheep:Lamb:Baa, Cat:Kitten:Meow. The final page shows each animal family under the moon/star filled sky. The illustrations are very bright and colorful and the lift a flaps allow this book to be hands on. The only con is that the flaps do seem to need reinforcement after a time. But overall an excellent find!
