PBS is so slow lately, no requests coming in. Anyone else having this same problem lately? Check out my bookshelf I've still got some good family/relationship books that someone might like.

I was just having the same discussion with a friend. I fear with the more ereaders coming out, the decline of printed books is on the rise. I however still prefer to curl up in a chair with a good physical book and not have to worry about the battery dying or a glare on the page lol.

I love my ereader, but could never give up 'real' books. On a regular basis I remeber why real books are so much better. I will be reading something good in my ereader and wish I could go climb in the bathtub and continue reading. The bathtub is my favorite place to read. Everytime I do so I risk splashing on my book and making it unpostable - a risk of $3.50. I can't risk it with my ereader = thats $150 risk!

I've never had a 'real' book go 'down' in the middle of a story, because I forgot to charge it!

OTOH, for trips, drs appointment, ect, ereaders are the best - a whole library comes with me in a size I can fit in my purse.

I get so many free books on my ereader, I mostly bought it for free books, and it has far exceeded my expectations with that.

I just love books any way I can get them!

I didn't realize how slow but just been teading through the different discussion topics and yes looks like not as many posts as before. That is sad as there is nothing like a real book! What is PBS going to do?
