This is a really good book, I read it over and over when I was younger. The story revolves around a young teenager named Deedi (Deidre) and chronicles her difficulties with school, friends, and guys. Deedi also has to deal with the untimely death of her brother. Yet this book is not depressing, it shows how Deedi copes and grows. Parts of this book are funny, other parts bittersweet and sad. I recommend it.
