Let's say I am at my bookshelf and realize I need to delet my Andy Rooney book off since there is scribbling on the inside of the book( right on the cover-on the inside) and on the back the last page before the back cover.  How do I delete it?  The little box on the right?  When it asks me if I am sure I want delete all checked books-the thought of accidently clearing my bookshelf gives me shivers.....

That's how you do it, Liz.

If it helps, I remove books from my shelf very frequently when I have any to send overseas.  As long as you only have that particular book 'checked', it is the only one that will be removed from your shelf.  I've never had a problem with the system whonking out and deleting the entire shelf or any books that weren't checked to remove. .  (Though it made me nervous the first few times I used that feature, LOL).

Wanted to add that if the scribbling is only on the inside of the front cover and on the back of the last page, it should be okay to post, as long as the marks don't influence the text of the book).

The marking is by a child or atleast it looks to be a child's scribble.  Anyway it is right there when you open the book-inside the first cover and then on the end page before the back flap it appears again.  There are NO markings on the text.  Please advise.
