An interesting story. A young girl comes to the wild Virginia colony to marry her betrothed. Though both are Godly young people sharing a desire to spread the gospel among the natives, thier marriage has been arranged by thier parents and while they are friendly with each other, they feel no real affection for each other. He has to leave and during his absence, her colony is attacked, she is rescued by a friendly indian and brought to live safely in his village until her betrothed returns. The indian falls in love with the girl and she is developing feelings for him also but she is determined that God means for her to marry this other man. This is a beautiful love story, set against a lush and wild frontier. A wonderful read for a quiet afternoon!
