I'm new here, and I can't seem to find anyone that I really click with - I read a lot of high fantasy (where is that topic also?) and pre-historic fiction.

Also, I enjoy tech-fiction and of course, some sci-fi.

I'm reading "Daemon" and "Brash Endeavor" (clunker).  I have a terrible time finding the few books I need to complete my collections.

Am I doing something wrong?

Welcome Judye! I'm sure someone far more qualified than me will jump in with suggestions for prehistoric fiction (mine would be Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean Auel), but I was curious with your mention of tech-fiction. I've never heard it mentioned before. What books would be examples? As for sci-fi and fantasy, have you looked in on the sci-fi and fantasy forums? I'm sure you'd find a gold mine for suggestions in those genres....

If you're looking to find similar titles, you might try the Prehistoric tag.

If you're looking for an official genre listing, there isn't one beyond Literature & Fiction > Genre Fiction > Historical.

The tech side has a couple of official subject headings:

Mystery > Thrillers > Technothrillers

Sci Fi/Fantasy > Sci Fi > High Tech
