I've hadn't tried Sweazy before this book and I won't try again.

Very blah, bland, boring--just another story of a damaged cop now on the cold case of why his mother left him when he was 8 (told in italics-hate that) and the current day case of murder.

There is no suspense, no chill, no thrill in this book and it's a short book-250 pages-take out all the boring descriptions on every page and you'd have a book about 200 pages or less

The only kind thing I can say is--there is no bad language, if you can stick with such boring book more power to you
