I posted this in CMT, but I am positive I've seen a few ladies in this actual forum post that they receive ARCs from publishing houses. Where do you sign up for that? I don't mean the cases where people post "read my blog, make a comment, someone will get a book" type of thing... more like getting on a list for the actual publishers to send the ARCs. Please post here any web links or suggestions, I bet more than myself would be interested! Thank you!

Yea - all of the ARCs I get are due to publisher's looking at my blog and thinking their book is a good fit for me to review. You often have to give traffic information for your blog, too... so like Deborah said, if you are really interested in getting ARCs you should start a blog and review the books you are reading now until you get a few on there so they can see what your writing is like, how many visitors you get, etc.

It's also possible to get ARCs by being a top reviewer on Amazon, but you would probably need to post hundreds of reviews before that would be as effective as a blog.

I suppose you could also pay a couple hundred dollars to attend a literary conference and hope to get some there, but I'm not sure that's the best option.
