I used to get these all the time.  Where have they gone? I really appreciated being notified that a book similar to my wishlisted one had been posted. I often ended up ordering these books.

If this feature has been deleted for some reason, is there any chance of getting it back?

Thanks to anyone who knows.

just make sure you have it checked as an option under your settings on the account page!

I do have it set up for that, but haven't received one in ages!

I just ordered a different version wishlist book that I *should* have been notified of, and I'm very happy, but it still would have been nice to get that E-mail!  Oh well, no biggie.

I must be getting them ALL -- I thought I turned it off, but now I get about a dozen every day.

I've been getting them - repeatedly for the same book it seems like, but that is probably another issue.

I'm with you Beverly -- I just got one last week and it was the very first one that I have gotten in months -- and in the meantime, I have been finding listed wishlist books myself just by searching the author's name. Frustrating!

I have never gotten one of those emails, but I sure wish I did. I don't have the box checked (saying that I do not want the emails), either. Weird.

I must be getting all of your guys's because my mail box is always jammed full with them. I finally turned them off this week because I couldn't take it anymore.

I got one recently, too, but I also notice some of my WL books that don't generate them.  I'm sure that there must be some program that decides when a book is "similar," and I guess it just doesn't catch every version of the book.

I just got one the other day for a book that has been on my wishlist for a long time.

I suspect that when you don't get the e-mails it may be because of slight differences in title or author in the database that prevents the books from being "linked" together.  For example Dean Koontz vs Dean R. Koontz.

Maybe this is what the "author cleanup" project is suppossed to fix?
