I had a wish granted marked it wanted waited and waited and the sender never responded and now it has disappeared .  What is the deal with that?

Someone posted it to the system, then didn't follow up by the deadline so the order was canceled by the system. IIRC, you now should be back at the start of the WL line for that book. You should be offered the next copy that's posted.

As to why people post them then don't follow up, I don't know. Maybe they got sick and can't get back online, maybe they're snowed in suddenly. Maybe they haven't finished reading the book. Maybe they're new and don't understand they've gotten an order. There's just no telling.

All you can do is guess.

Thanks I'm sad if someone got sick.  I checked my wishlist its back on now.  First time I look it wasn't there.  That's what made me wonder.
