A friend thought I would enjoy Anne Rice. I see she has a lot of books out, what is good choice for a first-timer? |

I would pick either Interview With A Vampire or The Witching Hour. Different series but
both good. I guess it depends on what your in the mood for, vampires or witches.

The Mummy or Ramses the Damned is also an excellent book, it is not part of a series. Of course, you could also try The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, the first in the Sleeping Beauty Trilogy, which she wrote under the name A.N. Rocquelaure (sp?), although they are erotica and not for the faint of heart or the easily offended. |

I would read Interview With A Vampire First. I liked them a lot better than the witches ones. |
