Ok, first I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has recommended Marsha Canham.  I just finished reading my first books by her, Blood of Roses and The Pride of Lions.  And just let me say they were fantastic.  Of course I cried my eyes out (I'm pregnant, so the hormones sure don't help), but they were wonderful historical reads, which I LOVE.

I am getting ready to start reading "the Robin hood series" (In the Shadow of Midnight, Last Arrow, and Through a Dark Mist).  But I know I will read through these fast and I want to have more of Canham's books on the way.  So out of her other books, which would you reccomend I get next?  I want to get about 3 to start off with.  I'm kindof leaning towards Across a Moonlit Sea, The Iron Rose, and Midnight Honor.  But am open to any suggestions you guys might have.

Thanks a bunch!!!

Erika, those are the ones that I would also pick.  Marsha Canham is in the process of writing the sequel to The Iron Rose.  I can't wait.  I would also suggest The Wind and The Sea but it is a hard to find book and could be pricey.

I think Across a Moonlit Sea is a great read, particularly if you're in the mood for a privateer romance with an independent heroine. But, I haven't read The Iron Rose and that might be a good one to get ready for her follow-up. I have heard good things about that one, too!

I would say definitely, Across a Moonlit Sea and The Iron Rose.  Midnight Honor, not so much.  Not that it's bad, I just don't think it's quite what you're looking for - or what you will be looking for after the Robin Hood series, and it's not really what I'd call a sequel to Blood of Roses and Pride of Lions anyway.  I know of a lot of people got that book expecting that story to continue, and got a little upset when it went off in another direction entirely.  Anyway, after Moonlit Sea and Iron Rose, I'd go with Pale Moon Rider, then Under the Desert Moon, and Swept Away.  After those, you'll probably go after anything left that I don't usually recommend as being her best, just to read it, cuz criminy, she's just that good and she just doesn't have enough books out there to saitisfy the Canham craving:P  If you can bring yourself to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 for a battered paperback romance novel, find a copy of The Wind and the Sea.  You should be ready for it by then.  I had read everything else she had in print before I finally broke down and spent that money, but it was so worth it...  and I couldn't stand it anymore:P
