Fantastic book on the trips through the medical treatment tredmill by a parent with a psychopathic son and mentally suspect husband. Really give the feel of the lack of choices a parent has when they are trying to find treatment for a sick child. The fear of being alone with her son, who she has been told will one day kill her, to her ability to brake free from a controlling marriage. Really hits home on her mental anguish as see fights to save her son.
