I read Vertical Run by Garber years ago and it remains one of my all time favorite books!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The plot is good, with lots of action and twists and turns. But what I particularly enjoyed was Garber's sense of humor. It's very easy to find action/suspense novels with decent settings and thrills these days. What's rare is to find a witty thriller. I very highly recommend Whirlwind!
