An easy-to-read book with two "impossible" murders (until they are explained in detail at the end.) It was an okay read, but a few too many flaws for me to rate it higher. One was that the amateur detective/hero was kind of a twit: apon meeting the fiance of the man he is to guard he makes an advance on her (and does so again after the death of her intended.) Plus he "chuckles" too much, despite bodies dropping left and right. The author keeps describing his hair as "blond" (we get it.) And the attitude toward sexual harassment has changed since this was first published in 1953. I also felt the explanation of the crimes a little too convoluted, although "possible."
