Makes me want to change my name to Lurleen and fry something. While the recipes in this series don't exactly make for healty eatin', it's an entertaining addition to any cookbook collection.
It's a cliche book, fun to read through but you're not exactly going to feed the family anything in the book.

I didn't find this a very useful cookbook. However it was somewhat intersting study of rural foodways in the south.
