  • Fav genre:  Theology, Hebrew roots, Zionism, Christian fiction, classics.
  • Fav non-fiction authors: C.S. Lewis, Dr John Garr, Andrew Murray, Marvin Wilson, Bater Kruger, Wayne Jacobsen, John Lynch, Dwight Pyror, Edith Shaffer,  Nancy Campbell, Brad Young, Charles Stanley, Josh McDowell, Corrie Ten Boom,  Warren Wiersbee, Max Lucado, Kay Author, Richard Booker, Jack Hayford,
  • Fav fiction authors: Robert Whitlow, Charles Martin, Angela Hunt, some of Francine Rivers.
  • I like most Christian contemporary fiction except:  Gooshy  romance, dark, or Amish.
  • Horse and dog books. Mark Rashid and James Herriot types. Any good animal story.

Robert Whitlow is my favorite Christian fiction author. Lots of legal mystery, little romance and the main character usually has a dog.

Charles Martin is my 2nd favorite, also mystery and relationships. Much like Nicholas Sparks books.

Les Miserables It is a must read! But the abridged is just too much.

I've been a PBS member for about a year now.  My favorite genders are mystery and thrillers, primarily post-Cpld War and forward.  I'm also a big Christian Fiction fan - been trying to find how to post and/or receive CF books.

Some of my favorite CF authors include Tim Lahaye, Jerry Jenkins, Josh McDowell, C.S. Lewis, Hal Lindsey, Frank Peretti, John Coniglio, and others.

Bob - if you like mystery/thrillers you ought to try Steven James and Tim Downs if you haven't already.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by trying to post and/or receive CF books but there are a good many of us that play in the games and post in the monthly book discussion threads that are in this forum.

Be glad to be of any help that I can.

My favorite CF authors are:  Karen Kingsbury, Terri Blackstock, Brandilyn Collins, Francine Rivers, Ted Dekker, & Frank Pretti.  Just lately I have gotten into Amish books, which I never thought I would like but I LOVE them!  Especially Cindy Woodsmall,  Beverly Lewis & Amy Clipston.  Give them a try if you've never read one.
