If you love plants you will love this book! The author also a plant lover wondered, Who had chosen their names? And why? She shares her research about over 100 plants.
This is very interesting reading! Some plants were drawn from mythology, some from medival legends. One was named for a French sea captain, antoehr for a bedbug! Plants that are so common to us we don't give a second thought to.
A very informative and enjoyable book.
