Byron Katie has a sure-fire approach to therapy: make your peace with what is, and realize that the stuff going on in your head is only thoughts, not reality. We tell ourselves our stories, and believe them, casting ourselves as victims, others as adversaries or enemies. Often, maybe most of the time, maybe even always, it's got nothing to do with us: other folks are busily doing their own thing. Our job is to live our lives.

This collection of dialogues, recorded live in a workshop session as Byron Katie works with people and their troubles, is revealing and thought provoking: it provokes reconsideration of our own stories, and reveals how much of what we think is ... just thoughts -- a profoundly liberating insight. I recommend it highly: a dynamite book!
