A well written, laid out and complete book. If you are thinking of going on a retreat this is the book for you. State by State it covers all retreat houses including non religious one. An interesting book on exactly what do religious orders do besides pray also.

A very interesting book full of great information! There are some websites listed and some of these communities put out catalogs of the products they manufacture, from cheese and fudge and other great food products to hammocks and windchimes. I definitely plan to visit some of these places one day, whether just to visit or to go on a retreat!
