A fun short story and quick read in the style of, we might imagine, Garrison Keeler's tales from Lake Wobegon.

This was a great, light-hearted read. I whizzed through it in a day (maybe two).

Disappointed. Set in the fictional town of Oysterback Maryland, Carrie comes back home when her mother suddenly dies. This is a story of quirky characters in a small town with lots of quirky things happening. I usually love small town stories with lots of characters but I was glad when this was over.
