This book was OK. I liked the first in the series much more. There were some good secrets along the way, but I felt that Bun was kind of a whiner at times, which I found annoying. I tried to reed quickly just to get to the end of it.

Who's Dead, Doc is the second in the Jules & Bun Mystery series set in small town New Hampshire and featuring Jules Bridge, owner of Fur Bridge Farm, a rabbit rescue. Jules and her rabbits have been hired to appear along with friend and puppeteer, Bailey at a children's birthday party and she's brought along her sidekick Bun, the telepathic rabbit. As the party is breaking up, Jules discovers the body of Evelyn Montgomery lying dead in the bushes.

Jules didn't know the woman well but she'd had a few dealings with her recently as Evelyn was in charge of the upcoming rabbit show, where Jules was going to enter Petra, her long hair rabbit that she'd trained to do tricks. Based upon the argument Evelyn had with another woman at the party, and the negative comments the show attendees are making about her, Jules is really not surprised that someone murdered the woman. The host of the birthday party asks Jules to find out who killed Evelyn and things fall into place when Sheriff Jack Carver also asks for her help in tracking down the killer.

A plot that hops along with returning characters and cute rabbits. The book seems to end a little abruptly and once again I was left wondering why nobody ever seems to adopt the rabbits that Jules has rehabilitated. I was also a little disappointed that Andrew Stone, the veteran from the first book doesn't make an appearance in this addition to the series.
