Help!!! I had another member request a book from me and I could not find the book on my physical shelf here in my home.So with that being said I could not mail the book so I declined the request with a reason of "I have miss placed the book" and also told them I would remove the book from my shelf here on the PBS. Well, now I can not find the book to remove it from my PBS shelf! What do I need to do to keep this from happening again? I really felt bad I could not help this person get this book. Will I be put on a list somwhere as a bad swapper? Thank you for your help. Lynn |

When you clicked "cannot mail" it would have been removed from your PBS bookshelf. |

When you decline the request, I think the system removes it from your shelf for you. If there was no RC involved, then the system figures...if it is listed, you should send it. Don't worry about being on a bad list somewhere; the system lets you be human, but try not to misplace too many books. Every six months or so, I try to go through my shelf just to make sure that nothing has escaped into thin air, and I can find what I still have listed. Hope this helps... Jackie |

The book is removed from your shelf at the time you receive the request. If you say you cannot mail it, the system will not put it back on your shelf. |

Yuppers, what they said. If you find the book and wish to try again, you will need to re-post it...the PBS system removed it when you cancelled the request. |
