Dr. Leonard Sax has some terrific and troubling insights on gender difference, and how both boys and girls are shortchanged when caregivers don't understand these differences. A terrific book for parents, teachers, and anyone interested in understanding the battle of the sexes in a more meaningful way.

An absolutely fascinating book that explores the latest research on gender. Dr. Sax presents evidence based research in an unbiased manner while also giving anecdotal stories from his years as a family practitioner. Having 2 girls and one boy and having had them educated in 3 different HS, one co-ed and two same sex, I was able to compare the experiences my children had with his research. I am a nurse and childbirth educator, and lead a mom's support group. I will recommend this book to all my parents and I think its a must read for all educators! Its also written in an easy to understand format...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
