Twice recently, I have asked for books and the member either didn't have it anymore or never bothered to answer her email.  Is there a way to delete members who are no longer active at all?  I am getting really frustrated with this.

The FIFO system will weed out non responsive members eventually.  This time of year I think it's just vacation/busy back to school stuff.

It can also be the genres of books you are ordering ... For example, I find that people who have all kids books posted (thus, are not involved with PBS on their own behalf) seem to be the ones where requests will just roll over and over.

sometimes they come and somtimes they go unfortunately we just never know.

I find for me things run in spurts.  a few weeks ago no responses from PM's.  this week a couple of disappointing books arrived and had to rwap.   one week I decided to post several WL books and they rolled over several times before they were accepted.

But most of the time things go great here at PBS.

Don't be discouraged.

This has also has just recently happened to me. Someone posted a wishlisted book and I accepted it. Several days went by and the sender never marked it mailed. I looked at their bookshelf and they had several books listed. Then right before the request timed-out I looked at their bookshelf and the account had been closed or suspended.
