You all are great at figuring out a reason for what, on the surface, can seem like strange occurences.   So, here is my latest.....I have placed multiple orders quite a bit lately.  All through the FIFO process.  In one of the orders, I chose 3 books.  All were accepted, but only two were marked mailed.  I figure the savings on postage by ordering from one member would be a good deal.   So, what would prevent a full order from going out?  I was thinking:

~Nothing available to pack three books in.

~Not enough money to send 3 books at once

~Book was lent out or still being read

Did I come up with all the scenarios?  Would you PM the requester to explain the partial order?  I have a large TBR so, no worries on the arrival time of this particular book.   Just thought I would ask what you all thought.  We all do things differently.  I posted a WL book last night knowing I could get to the Post Office today for a quick mailing.   That's just crazy ole me...

Did you check your Transaction Archive to see who is actually sending you the books because it may not be the person you ordered from.  If the person you ordered from didn't accept the request then the system would have passed your order on to another member without telling you.

It could be an oversight.  It could be that they didn't mark that book mailed when the other books were.

See, I knew I didn't think of everything.  I looked in the Archive.  It was canceled by sender and has a nice red X to tell me so.  I see, so it lies with the next person in FIFO?  Well, my first canceled request has occurred.  Its kind of a bummer - not sure I would have ordered the book as a single order.

Susan, the same thing happened to me recently.   Three books ordered from one person.  She never responded now two of them are coming from others and the third one seems to be going through a few posters.    Glad I have plenty to read here.
