Post two copies of the exact same book? They are WL books I want them sent out. I added one from my TBR and tried to add the other from there and it just stays on the list. I can log out and back in and there it is. I tried posting from the post-a-book page and nope - nothing. One came seven days after it was lost in the mail ( it was mailed out the day before it was to be lost in the mail, grrr..) and by then I was already being mailed the next copy ( I was first on the FIFO) I didn't know when the next time it would come around was so I accepted it. Now I have two copies and can't post the second. Is there any way around this or do I have to mail the firsrt one out before I can post the second? |

I was beginning to suspect that - Thanks Sharon - That really screws up next week for me - I just posted six WL books and wanted to go to the post office for all of them at once. Now I'll have to make a second trip for 1 book. Oh well - such is life I guess. |

I know it's frustrating. I had 3 copies of a book once - one that didn't last long on the shelf.

What you can do is once someone has accepted the order mark it mailed and post the other book. Let the 1st person know that you will be mailing it on X date but have a 2nd copy and would like to mail all at the same time. People are usually very understanding and as long as they know what date it will be mailed by they shouldn't have a problem. of course you run the risk of the 2nd book going through several people before being accepted |

Because I said so. Okay, it wasn't me, but somebody did. I think it had something to do with "being fair" to other people who wanted a chance to have their copy of the book requested. |

dappledart...but if it is a heavily WL'd book, why would that matter? I can understand if you are posting a Grisham or Nora Roberts, but a book that has a long WL? I realize that someone else said it and not you but their reasoning doesn't make sense |

I am sure it makes it much easier on the programmers and coders of this website to just make this a rule arcoss the board, rather than picking and choosing which books have to follow this rule or not. Maybe not. Dunno. |
