Why can't I get any pictures that I have taken to be an avatar? I've done everything I can think of and it wont work. I can use other avatars, but not my own.

Also...How can I get them from photobucket?

What I do is open up the photos I have in my computer, open the pic I want with "Paint" and then go to Stretch/Skew.  Then I change the percentage from 100% to 25% for both percentages. Then I save the pic that way and try to download it into PBS.   If it doesn't work, I go back and make it a little smaller the same way.  That's how I got my pic of my baby as my avatar.  :)

On my profile there are tutorials for avatars and blinkies and theres also a link to a website that you can use to resize your picks. The most common problem is that the picture doesnt meet the dimensions requirement or its not the correct format.

Thank you for the tip, it worked great. I never thought about using the Paint Program.
