In her dreams, she is Kayleigh again. She and her twin sister Morna are happy and carefree at Mhor Castle in the Highlands, their biggest concern whether to wear silks or taffeta. Erased from her memory is the terrible day Morna was murdered and Kayleigh barely escaped with her own life. Now she is Kestrel, a beautiful pickpocket in New Orleans--and still running from danger when she meets St. Bride Ferringer, a man driven by revenge. Sensual and mysterious, he could be the salvation she seeks...or the most treacherous enemy of all.....

I would have to say it was wonderful! It's one of my most favorite books. It caught my eye the minute I saw it. I couldn't put the book down until I finished it and I read it again and again. Author Meagan McKinney wrote such a wonderful and compelling story. The story and characters were very believable and there were some part that made me cry. It made you feel like you were there, there is no words to describe it. The heroine wasn't meek like many other typical romance novels. This book had romance, mystery, and humor. This book is a keeper

Kayleigh Kerr after seeing her sister get shot by her cousin, she is taken to Louisiana. She learns to steal, and then she meets up with
St. Bride. She keeps secrets from him, but he finds her so enchanting, he just wants to be with her. The fires spark with these too. A very good fast reading. A book you'll love.
