Excellent stories, loved the witches, very nice, light read.
An easy read, not bad, exciting at the end, looking foward to reading the next about her sister.
The fight of a woman to save herself and others while hiding what she really is......... a witch.
Excellent. The MacDonell Brides Trilogy is a wonderful read.
First in a trilogy about three sisters, all of them witches, and their adventures in magic, intrigue and passion.
book one of a great trilogy
Great read. Love this series.
A perfect ending to a great trilogy. Loved it.
This is the first in the MacDonell Brides trilogy and my first book by this author. The book cover alone captured my attention but the story itself kept me engrossed. Needless to say, I look forward to reading Ms. Holling's other works. The ending will grab you and not let go!

first in trilogy about three sisters all of them witches. good read now on to part 2.
I love this series. Enjoyable reading.
I enjoyed reading the first of three books in the series on highland sisters who are witches. After their mother was burned at the stake, their father sent them away separately and the book picks them up 12 years later coming home to wed men chosen by their father to protect them. Of course destiny intervienes in their father's choices. The oldest, Isobel is promised to an earl, who probably should have fetched her himself...her father sent Sir Philip to bring her home to the earl. I look forward to reading about the other two sisters!
With Scotland in the grip of a nationwide witch hunt, Isobel MacDonell is hiding in England. But when Sir Philip Kilpatrick arrives to escort her to her betrothed in the Highlands, Isobel must face a harrowing journey through a land of fear and suspicion. Soon, however, Philip grows reluctant to deliver Isobel to the noble intended she has never met. Isobel has charmed her way into his heart...and yet her determination to use her magic to solve the dark mystery of Philip's tortured past could destroy them both.
