Torn from the Me Too headlines and therefore somewhat predictable.
I would not compare it with Gone Girl or Girl on the Train, instead I'd just say it is a well written suspense, maybe not a 'thriller' but good suspense, I didn't see the ending coming until the last few pages.
This is a great psychological thriller - if you like Gone Girl or Girl on the Train, you will love this one too. Easy to read and to follow with several twists & turns.
