Ben Cabrera, coworker of Joel Wilde from Denison's "Born to be Wilde" is our protagonist in this romantic novel. As a security specialist, he is hired as a bodyguard for Christine Delacroix whose father is running for governor. There have been anonymous threats made and Ben must move in with Christy for three weeks. Ben has suffered loss in his life so when Christy becomes more than a job to him, he resists involvement with her. Good, quick, read, fun to see many of the Wilde family characters from Denison's previous novels.
This is the story of an ex-Marine turned bodyguard. And, his current assignment is to guard the daughter of a senator (running for re-election) from harm. The only problem is that he's a hot-blooded, sexy guy who doesn't believe in mixing business with pleasure. Christie, on the other hand, is a hot-blooded all-American gal who's out to change is mind. And, of course, certain upsetting events happen that keep us guessing as to who's trying to cause harm to Christie.
While he was in the Marines, Ben met the famous "Wilde" brothers. So, they also make a cameo appearance in this book, along with some of their spouses, kids, etc.
It was a good book. And, the romance was sizzling.... A good read!

Very good story. I enjoyed the twists in the story.
Good steamy story. I had not figured out the villain at the end (always a plus), but kind of had a "been there, done that" feel. Don't get me wrong, I read it in one sitting :) All of her characters in this series are great, and this is a welcome addition.
Great continuation of the Wilde series. No nonsense heroes.
once a marine always a marine....strong and sexy is awesome.
First book I've read in this series. I enjoyed it. I liked the interaction between the characters. Good, STEAMY,HOT, read!
