Very good read. It's not as good as All the Sweet Tomorrows... which I think is the best of the series. But almost everything Bertrice Smalls writes is excellent. This story is a bit different, taking place in India. It follows the childhood of Yasimine, her adulthood, and how twisted her brother really is. Eventually everything ties into the O'Malleys. Overall pretty good, will not disappoint.

This book is good but not one of her best. As usual Small's attention to detail is flawless and it was great to see the intermingling of Skyes' family. But I would like to have seen a better storyline.
