This was the first Harlequin Presents I ever read, and after rereading it just a week ago, I'm convinced I had good taste even when I was 14! The plot is a bit trite, with Catriona arriving in the big city to find her "boyfriend", Jeremy, only to encounter his charismatic uncle, Jason, instead. The sparks fly, and the dialog is great; I was actually chuckling out loud in some spots. Catriona proves that she's no doormat, and Jason proves that he really loves her. This is truly Sara Craven at her best.
