Sundra never knew what possessed her arms to impulsively reach out and touch Gardner's chest. As he stepped closer, she put her arms around his neck and waited for his lips to reach hers first. She closed her eyes so tightly it hurt. His lips were brushing against her cheek. She shivered, not having the slightest idea of what to do next. When she drew in a deep breath and held it, she heard him chuckle softly in her ear. 'Relax against me, ' he coaxed her.
