42 people have offered to donate either books or credits to my school library project.  I cannot thank you all enough!  The kids will be thrilled and busy writng personal thank you notes next month.

I am a retired librarian who is working at putting together a library at a school with a 60% population of Hispanic students.  We originally had a grant for most of this work, but as always the money ran out and there are sooo many great books still needed.  I have used all of my credits so far and over $300.00 and was wondering if anyone would want to donate any kids/teens books  If so, please pm me and let me know.  Also, send along your address so the  kids can thank you all personally.  Hope this is the correct forum for such a request.

Will you take a box of books instead of credits?  If so, what are the ages and grades of the kids?  Do you have a 'wish list' just for this project?  I don't have enough credits for my own requests but I would be willing to try to fill a box and send to you.  I am a 'Boxer' also.  Maybe other members could help out with your project.

I also work in a school in rural Appalachia and have had many great members from another site send me lots of great donations of books for schools.  Please let us know if you are willing to accept books and what is your wishlist.  Sometimes we have extra copies that we are willing to share.

I don't have any children's or YA books on my shelf but I'm going to buddy you 3 credits. Maybe you can find some PBSers willing to make you some good deals with books they have available. Lots of luck getting your books and thanks for doing this.

Thanks Shirley for the credits!  I was able to get 3 more of the wish list book I have on my reminder list. 

I don't have that many YA books but I'm willing to send you any if you want.  Take a look at my bookshelf and see if there are any books you would want.
