The Winds of Catawba
Author: Laurie Stahl
Laurel grew very still as she cought sight of the man who stood in the doorway. He was taller than Wardm with shoulders so broad that she grew weak-kneed at the sight of them. Laurel watched his dark head lean over her extended hand. His cool lips left a strandge yearning inside her.

I loved this book even though I had not read Women of Catawba first. This is the first book I have read of Laurie Stahl's Books. I am going to have to find some more by her and her mother, Hilda Stahl.

This book was written by Laurie Stahl, daughter of very gifted author Hilda Stahl. Hilda wrote the first book but died before she could complete the series and her daughter did and excellent job of finishing
this series. As far as I can tell this is the only book ever written by Laurie Stahl.
