Ten year old Bob Duncan is spending his summer vacation in the Waunakee National Forest with his father, a scientist who studies eagles. Since he just received a pair of binoculars for his birthday, Bob wants to take a close look at the eagles for himself. He also has plans to find some beavers or even a deer, but a prowler in the woods upsets Bob's plans and forces Bob to make a promise that he does not want to keep. God uses Bob's dilemma to teach him about obedience, trust and His own faithfulness.
