I have listened to Fall of Giants on audio and really enjoyed it, now I am 1/3 the way into Winter of the World, and I am losing interest fast.  Can anyone tell me does it get better?  If I were reading it I would skim at this point but audio is harder.  Maybe I will set it aside and do somthing else for a change...

I have Winter of the World on my desk but haven't read it yet. Follett is usually a sure thing. Hopefully it gets better.

I loved Fall of Giants but I have heard that Winter of the World introduces lots of characters that make it a little confusing in the beginning. I will be giving it a try at some point in the future.

I've found that sometimes I don't enjoy a book on audio, but if I stop, and pick up the book in written form, I do better. I don't know exactly why this happens, but it does. This might just be a book you need to read rather than listen to.

I did get the print copy and have picked up where I left off.  Now I can skim the boring parts, some of the war detail is just too much for me.  And the characters are confusing, now I can flip back and try to figure out who is who.  Not loving it, but may finish it, we will see.

I reviewed the book HERE. I don't do audio books for a number of reasons, the main being I really can't engage with a book that way. I enjoyed the book and I think you will to if you stick with it.

Nice Review Rob, and I agree, I do think I iwll finish it and will end up enjoying it.  It is already picking back up, I think I had just hit a slow spot.
