I have a number of books purchased in London - they are recognized in the system, but since the numbers don't match those on the wishlist, they are not automatically matched to requestors. I've posted them on my bookshelf, but is there any good way to get them to the people who want them? All of them show with multiple requests. |

You can advertise in book bazaar, but that can be pretty hit-or-miss...how many is "multiple" wishers? If it's over 100, I expect they'll be snapped up shortly regardless. Under ten...who knows. |

Thanks - I did post some on Book Bazaar. Requestors range from 5-45, so I'll just wait and see |

Phoebe, Posting in the Book Bazaar is the best way to make these known. I am not sure if you started a thread or posted in the existing one, but I have found most will check the Wishlisted books with different ISBNs instead of wading through all the individual posts. And most members probably search by title or author when looking for a book to order, so chances are you will get a request soon for those books. Here is a link to the November Wishlisted books with different ISBN #'s: http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=140656. Most folks who visit the Forums on even an occasional basis will probably check this thread. There have been 2962 vists to that thread since Nov. 1st.

you can also tag the WL books with something like "also available under ISBN XXXX" and put your ISBN in there. That will also help get it snatched up quicker! |

Leslie, that is a great idea. I've just expounded on the fact that errant ISBN's are hard to find. Now I know what I'll use my tags for! Ruth |

I always do the tag thing first and have never had to post one in the bazaar. Also if you are an active poster: sometimes just putting them in your signature will generate a quick order. That's worked for me before. |
