For a long time, I had about six or seven audio books on my wish list. But, ever since I added them, I received probably two or three emails A DAY for EACH wish listed book.... all of them saying "a book similiar to what you wished for has just been listed." It goes on to say it's a different binding, meaning a hardback or paperback book! That's not at all what I wanted.... I want the audio version! My preferences are set up to NOT email me with "simliar to's" but it still does and I'm getting mad! I have already deleted the books from my list because I couldn't stand it anymore.... does anyone else have this problem? What can I do about it?

Kim, my wishlist of 183 consists mostly of audio books.  So I've been getting 30-40 "similar to" emails daily.  I didn't know there was an  option in my settings, but I found it and checked 'no" and then clicked on the "update settings" button.  Now I'll see if I also still receive those dozens of "similar to" emails.

Kim, I think Julie is right.  Perhaps you forgot to click on the "update settings" button.  I changed mine 2 days ago and have not gotten another "similar to" e-mail.

Kim, about 75% percent of my wishlist is Large Print so I went through the same thing.  Double check your settings like everyone here has said...if you have updated and it did take, contact the site and they will fix it.

I think (but am not sure) that you need to click the update button for the area you actually update.  So, changing your email preferences and then clicking the buttom under say, forum settings, won't say the changes to email preferences.

I know what you mean, but unfortunately my wish is for a hardback copy of Shogun.  I get an email about every day for a similar paperback book that is posted.  It isn't as annoying as yours though, I am glad you got it solved.
